Front Bumper/No. Plate surround

Is there any trick to removing the plastic bumper bit that holds on the Number plate from a 1996 Disco 1?

As looking to fit a bullbar, and this seems to need to come off to fit it.

Just didn't want to pull it off if there are some fittings somewhere, although I have had a good look and seem to find any, and it does move side to side....

Two self-tappers is all that held mine on ... roughly 18" apart, through the bumper. You need to slide under the bumper headfirst and look up and forwards .. or take the whole thing off , which is how I did mine 'cos I was also taking the valance off and trimming the endcaps.

There are also two spring clips that hold the ends back, but I didn't find them - they soon loosened themselves when i pulled!

Ok, thanks guys, good job I just never pulled the thing off then

Will have a look for the screws now
