Having a quick look round the vehicle today, I can see the offside (drivers side), lower suspension mount on the axle has come away from the weld / corroded, only on the inner leaf, the outer leaf is still firmly attached. Which has caused the lower end of the damper to sit on top of the axle casing, and the whole thing to lean in, not ideal! So its corroded and dropped by about 10mm.
Obviously it needs repairing so I'm wondering if theres a replacement weld-in part? I've had a look on the usual Paddocks etc but can't see anything? Or am I going to have to weld it up? The latter isn't a problem but just wondered if anyone knows of a replacement part, or has any specific advice on the welding up, looks straight forward enough but you never know! Cheers in advance.
