I was out trialing last weekend and during the section pictured below my front axle took a lot of punishment. It now looks as if my axle is off center as both my shocks are tilted ever so slightly.

How do I correct this? Do I need to adjust the radius arms? Or have I bent something that going to take a lot of strong words to fix?

Panhard rod holds axle in line laterally not radius arms, they just provide a pivot and control fore and aft and torque twist.

I believe I ordered something panhard rod related a few month back after a recommendation from another member on here. Maybe bushes, I'll have a look when I get out to the workshop tomorrow.

Is it an easy fix?

I'll go look up images on google.

Only fit proper metalastic bushes in panhard rods, not the poly ones, they will wear out in no time doing what you do with your car.

Quick update, what would be your advice here?

It appears as if the panhard rod is to long. The mounts at both ends are fine, no sign of bending. Im not sure taking it off and adjusting the rod will really make that much of a difference to the axle offset. As there is only about 20mm of travel and it appears I need quite a bit more.

Should I measure up for a new panhard bar? Or is there something here im missing?

20 mm is better than nothing. You maybe able to trim some off the female part to allow more adjustment. Are the mounting points sound if it was ok before something has moved or is it something that may have existed before and you have just noticed?

Yeah i'll get it adjusted as much as I can.

The mounting points are sound, nothing looks out of place. It is an aftermarket bar and im wondering if it isnt the right size for the lift. I've looked at older pics and it does look slightly off in those too.

I've a forrest run this Sunday so we'll see how it looks after that!
