I bought from Gwyn Lewis a kit to change breathers as my front one is leaking badly around the pipe, the plastic insert must be worn . Apparently pull out insert and tap out the hole ... one issue the tap will not even start in the bushing in the axle case and can not drill out in place etc as no room with steering parts and cross member behind . I'm guessing il need to partially drop the axle out ?

any other suggestions as oil going everywhere.

Jack axle up, then axle stand chassis and lower jack allowing axle to drop, should give you enough room?

Sorry Matt, just edited my post as you were typing.

Think going to have to unbolt the shocks and drop down more as need a cordless drill and drill bit length under the sump . Just thought I might have wrong size or another way around this problem

I couldnt get the damn connector out, so I replaced the plastic insert instead.

Would an angled chuck fit ? https://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-angled-keyless-chuck-10mm/6746h

If you can sharpen drills you can cut one down and redo the cutting end.
I have one I cut down years ago and ground two flats on so I could use a spanner to drive it as space is very limited.
