Can anyone tell me the difference between the front and rear wheel bearing kits. I can see DA2379G (front) and DA2380G (rear).

There is a difference in price but I am not sure what the difference is in the content.

as a guess, oilseals?

iirc, the bearings are identical but are the front hubs fitted with a pair of oilseals to keep their grease seperate from halfshaft oil (or summint?)

Rich.

I have just done my swivels on the front and that has 1 seal in the swivel ball, 1 seal in the stub axle and 1 in the hub. The front kit includes the hub seal.

I can't see where another seal would fit in the rear kit, hence the question. (I have seen some photos of rear kits that looked to have two seals).

My front kits included 2x bearings, 1x seal, 1x nut, 1xtab washer 1x drive flange gasket, 1x circlip, 1x plastic end cap and 1x grease. I would of expected the rear to have the same?

That's interesting. I've bought and fitted the same wheel bearings front and rear several times over now. I've not noticed anything awry. I think the bearings are the same size, but what may differ are the accessories.
