Hello everyone!

My name is Dinis, I'm from Portugal, and I've been coming here everytime I needed over the years (thank you all), but from the outside. Now I decided to come in.

I have a 1999 Defender 90 td5, boughted new, which was always (and still is) my dream car, since my youth.

About 3 and a half years ago I decided it was the time to make a big overhaul to him, which took me almost a year (exccept pannel beating and painting work, I do everything by my own, alone. That's the way I like). But, in the very same day I took it out the paint shop (where I did all the other work), an inesperated accident occurred, while making an underneath treatment to the chassis, in another shop) and I had to start all over again, but this time a total deep restoration, as the body work got tottaly lost (again, alone, on fridays and saturday mornings till today. A big love thing), which I'm just finishing.

But now I'm having a couple of problems, which I'll share with you, later, in the right place.
Just wanted to make a framework/ introduction of me and and my late short story of my car.

Allow me to share the brief story in images and the care that I'm doing this.

I'll be back to you later, hoping you can help me. Many thank in advance!

Dinis

Welcome to lz, landy looks mighty clean  I see you've opted for the early type doors.
Thank you, Kevstar
Actually I have both types, as I also have the soft top set (this “new” body came from a soft top model). I’ll just finish the original ones and keep them well packed for now.
