Hey everyone, my name is Stephen. I bought my first Land Rover last week, it's a Freelander XDI, I desperately wanted a Discovery but the wife stood her ground and declared that our my new vehicle needed to be more efficient on fuel than my Kia Sportage 2 litre petrol was. So here I am with the Freelander, it is a foot in the door that should hopefully mean that I will get my Discovery or Defender one day.

If it doesn't all go to plan then I've always got the can of petrol and a match fix eh?

Anyway it's great to hopefully meet many of you and to share your banter and your wise wisdom.

:welcome2:

Rule 1; Ignore the wife..
Rule 2; Ignore the wife...
Rule 3; Ignore the wife....!!
Rule 4; Wimmin know nothing about Land Rovers, so, Ignore 'em....

Having ignored the ignoring rules, you now have a Gaylander...

Next time the wife "stands her ground", run her over...................

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Another Nottingham member:) there's two or three of us Notts freelander owners on here. Everyone that's got en loves em, everyone that hasn't takes the ****!!!! There's huge amounts of info on here so do a little research and it should help keep it pretty reliable!

Thanks guys, I shall follow the advice that both of you have given, although I'm keen to point out that in running over my wife that I will then have to break from fixing my freelander to make my own cuppa, that can't be sensible surely :)
