Hi there guys just been outside messing about on this lovely evening and decided to finally removing that silly rusty step on the back and the plough sorry towbar.
Upon removing said step looked at the rearmost body mount to find a largish hole (see pic)
How easy is it to replace this mount? will i have to take apart half the disco?
Gonna order up the part from YRM as prices are bloody good!

Cheers
Rob

They arent that hard to do just depends on how thourough you want to be, whats the other side like is there any rot in the crossmember as the new ones i used were sligtly wider than the old, if its just that bit weld a plate over it if you just want to tidy it up

I'd really get to work under there so see what the situation is. It all looks very crusty.

Was thinking that too! Only just moved out of the centre of town so shes been a bit neglected for a while:eek:

Now though i can start cracking on with things like this!

Mount on the other side is OK doesnt look too bad well i cxant poke a hole through it with my finger anyway!

Think ill take a look at the rear crossmember for definate on the plus side boot floor was done not long before i bought it a year ago but how well of a job was done i dont know.

If thats bad too i think ill buy the complete crossmember with mounts maybe what do ya think?

Typical gotta rip apart the front as the rust is taking a hold bigtime.

Now should i take off the plastic covers over the sills?????
