Hi Guys,
Have a Freelander 2.0 Diesel 1997 5 door.
Recently put new starter motor on so had to dissconnect battery.
This was three weeks ago and Ive had constant problems with Tailgate window. When I re-connected battery wiNdow automatically came down ( I know this happens as the norm now having checked my handbook). Window went back up ok, but periodically has been opening of its own accord while driiving. Took fuse out to stop this happening, putting it back in when I required to access the boot.
Opened tailgate door last night and Window came down and wont go up again.
Dissconnected battery again and went through the re-calibration procedure from handbook, tried key in tailgate door tried button on dashboard still no joy.
Only thing is I get a beep when pushing dashboard button down, as if Im trying to close the window. Nothing when I try to open.
HELP!!! Its peeing down here.
