horay you've come into the 21st century

u wait till the fender section finds out , ;);)

nice one mate and good ur beloved is happy

bet u won't be able to use it for work if urs need to go in for a mot etc

got anything to do on it

mines in for a new clutch monday, basically hdc does not work, reversing lights are faulty and water in the boot

water in the boot

can try

tighten the rear door catch

put black silicone , can't remember the proper name round the rear trim and let it dry , lol

or replace rear door rubbers think there quite expensive , but urs is a 5 door so not sure the price difference between the 3 and 5 door

remove the rear carpet to dry ,

sit inside the car , get someone to put a hose pipe on the back door to see where it's coming in ,also put the hose underneath and coming through the boot welds

hdc light

check fuse

see wires haven't come off the back or been disconnected

remove leads from battery for 30 mins to reset all the ecus etc and reconnect battery

reversing lights, bulb fuse or switch , earth

when u have the clutch done im not sure if the slave is inside the bell housing ,make them to check or replace ???

hope that not telling u how suck eggs as u know landies

if u ever need a hand there's plenty here to help if u need it

Thin end of the wedge.. before long it will be "no let's take the Freelander it'll be quicker" and " hmm.. do they do a commercial version?.." :D
Yes commercial version available.

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f69/1...cial-sales-brochure-specification-272806.html

It'll start with the usual eggscuses...

I'll just pop out and give it the once over to check it's ok

then he'll be on to

I'll take yours this morning so I can see if the wheel bearing is going

then it'll be

I'll take yours tomorrow as I have a long trip to do...

wonder if he'll have the heater turned to heat or refuse to use it as heat int something he's used to.

Be trying to mod it next anorl.

yep mine useto be a commercial

just think 40 mpg , all that money u would save , lol

or it will be

need to test ur fuel garage as it doesn't move much

it's a cold morning and want to fully test the heater out

or

wish to listen to a radio station as can't hear my fender bender radio

or

ur speedo is faulty as It was showing 80 mph and still very quiet ,

may be in hiding as the fender section may have found out , lol

Water in the boot......another thing to check is remove the rear door card and check the vapour barrier is intact and sealed all round........mine leaked after it went in to LR for a new rear window and they butchered the vapour barrier.
