Freelander2 Rear door.

I have a problem with my rear n/side passenger door, when locking and unlocking.
Door not unlocking when opening the rest of the vehicle, also sometimes does not lock correctly.
Also i have had probs with the battery, going Flat on me, change for a new one, going Flat after not using the car for two or three days.
Could the door fault, cause the battery to go Flat.
(i have had the battery tested)
Once jump started, runs fine.
Any info would be very much appreciated.

Sounds like the lock has failed. The battery going flat could be because the car is leaving the lights on inside if its not locked propper. They do time out and switch oft after a bit. But an unlocked FL2 uses a bit more power from the battery than a locked one.

Do you know how to do a ‘current draw test’ on the battery?
An Indy could do it for you.
