freelander

hello everyone,can anyone help i m doing a r reg freelander for a freind it has had 2 alternaters and 2 new batterys and it still kills batterys and alternaters.i ve had it tested and it comes back as alternater all the time and you need a brand new battery to start it, any help would be loverly

have you checked that you have the correct alternater for model, as i has a similar problem with my V6 vectra, as there was two types of voltage, the wrong one was put onto the car and it ate both battery and alternater.

have a search for "alternator" and as Cat says - stick the q in the Freelander section.
