2005 V6 had new General Grabbers on 16" rims fitted (down from 17" rims) and off I went to freinds 85 miles away for NYE. Was a slow trip, so never went over 60ish, too much traffic.
Soon as I got there, tested new tyres by doing figure of 8s with full opposite lock round his fields..
Car was COVERED in mud, so looked as it should do!
Trip home, first time over 70 on new tyres....severe wobble through the car, not the steering wheel though. Read up on here, and was having nightmares abouts VCU and ITU, LOL, ETA etc tec.....
Took it to the power wash today and cleaned it-including all the lumps of mud from the inside of the wheels...
No more wobble
Must have been the mud knocking the balance out. So ithere is a lesson for me-check the basics first.
