heated mirrors TD4 06 Plate are they on permanetly or can they be turned off

Permanent as far as I'm aware, never found a switch to turn them off and pretty sure they're not thermostatically controlled.

that was my thought's as well as they are always warm no matter what the weather.

Im sure mine come on when i switch on the heated front screen.

Im sure it's explained in the handbook as im not 100% sure.
