Freelander TD4 power loss

Hello again, I have now tried it with the maf disconnected, no change! I have also located the map, thanks to Mike. I will be giving this a clean with some electrical cleaner and cleaning the induction system at the weekend. Hopefully my fuel filter will have arrived by then. If none of that helps, someone mentioned the turbo actuator sensor, could someone tell me where to look for that please? Also, can you drive the truck with the map disconnected, or is there another way to test it before buying a new one?
Thanks
Lee

My 134000 mile TD4 starts well, runs well, acceleratres well, until I am over 2000 revs for more than a few minutes, once I do this the power drops off and the throttle is of very little use.
Have done all the Intercooler pipes, turbo pipes, ERV functions perfectly, (now), replaced three knackered vacumn pipes, there are no recorded faults and no warning lights come on.

All I have to do is turn the ignition key off and on, then all is restored, until I go over 2000 revs again.

Great for fuel consumption, 40+/gal, crap for anything else.

Please help, currently going mad.

Thanks

Graham
Got the same problem with my td4 55 plate. Changed all pipes before. Done service but dtill black smoke but loses power uphill
