Hi Guys..

I got myself a 2004 Freelander TD4 3 Door yesterday. I am new to all this :) - Please be nice..

Well the reason for my post.. After a bit of advice really.. The freelander has done 55,000 miles and it had a service at 44k, which i understand was an oil service. What service is next, and when? and how much is it likely to cost me? Is it worth going to main dealer or looking at a specialist? (Keith Gott's is close to me)

Secondly.. Tyres, the freelander seems to have a mix of tyres front to back, think mostly Michelins. I've been told the tyres shouldnt be mixed, how important is this? If i replace i might replace with GRABBER AT2, can anyone recommend these?

Thanks again.

Cheers

Dave

Get your car done by a good specialist, it'll be cheaper & make sure they replace your crankcase breather filter/ valve assy, all filters & transmission fluids etc.

Brilliant.. Thanks guys..

The FBH (fuel burning heater) freaked me out a little this morning.. lol

Ive been told all tyres should be the same, how important is this?

Cheers

Most important thing with tyres is to replace both on an axle and ALLWAYS put the new ones to the rear welcome to the forum:welcome2:
