Hi guys,
i just replaced the clutch master and my pedal act weird since (the pedal feel like it's glued after the mid release and lift off to my feet). The mechanic told me it's the clutch pedal spring.
My question : i can't find this spring alone (only the full pedal kit) and wonder if the defender clutch pedal spring will fit ? its the only one i can find on spare part.
Thanks for your advice

Hi

Why on the first place the clutch master was replaced ? Is appear just after the master change, so the master is to blame, especialy if it is a cheap one.

The pedal return when you remove your feet only because of fluid presure. The spring don’t do that job.

Has the clutch has been ever changed ?

The plastic part on the clutch master broke. I was driving and while pushing the pedal i heard a noise and the pedal was weird. My mechanic told me it was the clutch master.
I bough a Britpart (https://www.rld-autos.com/fr/emette...metteur-embrayage-freelander-1-stc000171.html ), do you think it's the one faulty ?
The clutch has been changed in 2020 (15/04) by the previous owner. I didnt have any issues with

A master from britparts :(

Buy one from Luk or a genuine one.
Slave and master must be from LR or Luk on the freelander unless you want some odd issue.

In the first place, I think it was only necessary to replace the connector between the pedal and master cylinder.
Just in case, the part reference is STS100040 and cost "only" 10 bucks.
