Freelander Sunroof

Hi, I'm new on here. I have just bought a 2005 Freelander 2.5 V6 automatic and tried the sunroof and now it's stuck open. I have tried manually winding it down, but it is stuck fast. I am really not bothered about the sunroof and want it closed, permanently. How do I do that? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
