Freelander spluttering and drinking petrol

new to the site
Got a landrover freelander 1.8 petrol which is all of a sudden drinking the petrol. Spluttering on low revs,was told it was the coil pack which i have now replaced, running abit better but still spluttery and drinking petrol and am now being told it could be the fuel filter.

any ideas anyone please? thanks

get it plugged into a fault reader, it sounds like the ECU

Have you tried to search on here for anyone whos had a similar problem?

welcome. same as freelaner says your best bet is to put it on a code reader. have you cleared codes after you replaced coil pack?
could be anything if youve not got a reader

hi mate i havent cleared the codes how much will that cost me thinking of buying the ecu tomoz and trying that
