Well thats us had the freelander just over a year now and am looking to get it into the garage for a service but before i do i am looking to ask what you recommend gettin done on the service please folks?/
Its a 2003 td4 automatic with appx 85000 on the clock
Also its starting to make a slightly rattly noise when running from the fan belt area could this be cos its dueservice???

Thanks for now Drew

Firstly I would find a good independent LR specialist. The one I use quotes £191+ change for an 84000ml service.
This might help with what's needed:

 Freelandy is in the garage as we type now ,my very trusted mechanic told me to leave her n not drive her until the master pulley is fixed , ends up thats wit the rattle is/was which chewed one belt and almost another .oh well at least i have me motorbike :amen:

Hang on... the garage are asking you how to fix your car, that you are paying them to fix... They should be on dragons den with that business model.

No lol they didnt ask how to they called to let us know they have to use force and heat to remove the bolt as it was overtight and it was us just worrying slightly it wasnt on a reverse thread .However its all fixed now and runnin better than ever will be doin the annual service items bit by bit .

Thanks for info guys Drew
