Hi, Is there anyone out there that can help me I have brought a second hand Rear Window Dog Guard off Ebay, it has not fixings or instructions. Can anyone tell me how to fix item to car, as my dog keeps scratching my back window and will break the eliments in the back window:)

pull its claws out,see how that helps !

Or,the key to this is to take the plastic cover of the inside of the tail gate. There is a fixing kit which bolts to the metalwork of the door, and the guard then slots into this and is bolted up. Two small cuts are made in the plastic tailgate cover to allow it to be refitted.

Hope this helps

Basically, you need the instructions as they include a template to show you where to cuts the holes and a fixing kit to fix it to the door.

Now I know that isn't the answer you are looking for, but cobbling together the parts to do it is going to be a real pain in the ass. Could you find a complete unit on eBay?

Cheers

You let your dog scratch your back window and you haven't got rid of it? Next you'll be telling us you let your missus put her feet up on the dashboard...

Cheers
