Freelander Question

hi this is my first question on landy , can anyone tell me if they have had any problems with their freelander year 2000 to 2003 , from a standing start with the wheels on full lock either direction in first gear pulling away it feels as if the vehicle is being held back as if the brakes are slightly on can any one help with some info many thanks regards David

might sound stupid, but have you checked you got the handbrake off? if you have then it could be a problem with the brakes ceasing up, or you might just have to use the old can of WD40! cheers Rob

cheers Rob could'nt stop laughing with the suggestion of the handbrake being on , maybe some people but not me , anyway thanks for your reply but in talking to another freelander owner he recons it is something to do with the diff set up , heres hoping someone can help with some info regards David

yes, there have been lots of questions regarding diffs. go to the general landy talk page, there people have posted questions about diffs. very interesting even for me!
