Freelander L-series self revving

Hi all, Been having an issue for a while with my L-series revving up on it's own to about 3500rpm then correcting itself and doing it again and again and then fix itself for a few days!! Arghhh, came on the forum a few months ago and got a reply from Eightinanvee who i must thank, he pointed me towards the crank sensor or needle injector sensor, turned out there was a water leak running down the engine and onto the crank sensor, sorted this and no more probs and has been long time so reacon its sorted!!
