Freelander L Series Diesel Injector Pump

Sadly my Freelander, Maude, is having a rough time at the mo and they tell me I need an injector pump thingy. They reckon 800 pounds!!! Is that right?? Anyone know of anywhere I can get one cheaper?? Not sure if the one's I've seen on eBay are the right ones.

Look for scrappies selling bits off rover 820/420 diesels, same lump, just wi out landy badging. Also fink theyrein some ldv vans as a perkins lump iirc.

VP37 pump , get a second opinion befor buying a new pump, as these pumps are extremaly reliable .!!!

Mine's in bits! Been looked at by an injection specialist while the garage say the engine will run but no fuel getting there

They want 800 pounds for a new one!!!
Will the Rover ones on ebay fit?
