Hi Guys can anyone point me in the right direction to get this kit to turn the back of my freelander into a van. I have an 04 tD4 facelift with no back windows. Any ideas?I am a saddler and I want to use it as my work waggon.

Diesel do has done the conversion. It is not just a floor. But you could unbolt the rear seats and cut a panel to suit out of marine ply or similar.

Hi ZDomZ who is Diesel do can you point me in the right direction so I can talk with them. Thanks Buddy. :)

Where are you based Kieran? I'm in Dorset and have a commercial floor in my barn that I will be using as a template as I want to make up a partial floor bed for the front of the load bed. If you're in the S/W you're welcome to pop by and take your own template from it.

Hi there No Dosh hat is most kind of you. I wish I was in the SW but I live in the very North of Scotland North of Inverness. I think that may be a bridge too far. thanks for such a kind offer

Van floor won't fit with car side panels. Van side panels won't fit with rear upper seat mounts welded on. Bulkhead supports the front of the floor where it overhangs the rear foot wells. I fitted the full van interior. Wooden floor, rubber mat, lashing eyes, 2x side panels and bulkhead. Only mod you have to make is cut off the upper seat mounts on the strut towers. This means it's not easy to reverse.

If it has no ask windows I gues it was a van and has had the car cob version done to it! If you want to retain the ability to refit the seats later and are not bothered about the panel being different I would get a van partition to support the front edge of the floor and use a big bit of cardboard or several taped together to make your own template.. You can then cut this from a sheet of decent ply and fit it in around the car side panels. Unbolt the tiedowns and drill through your new floor panel to bolt them back in, if you got some more from a scrap yard you may be able to use the seat mounting holes to add extras if you need.

Diesel Do, Thanks for your post. It is a freelander van and had rear seats fitted after market. All the seat struts are out. And it has the van interior side plastic panels. Please can you tell me Where I can get a bulkhead from to support a new floor and do you know a supplier that might be able to help me.

Kind regards

Kieran

I got a complete van kit off eBay for £50. All bolted straight in Appart from cutting off the seat mounts
