Has anyone got any recommendations for purchasing a replacement HG kit for my '99 1.8 petrol Xei? (yes, I know it's old, but it's only just starting to show trace signs of water in the oil filler cap - and if possible, I need to keep it going for a year or so yet...)
I've searched all over the web, but I'm drowning in all the sites that discuss the head gasket problem and not where to get the replacement kit (inc. them there long stud thangs) from.
I just know if I take it to our local dealer in Limoges, France, I won't get any change from a thousand euros!!! So once I've sourced the kit, I'm gonna find a tame mechanic and somewhere that can skim the head.
Here's hoping the liners haven't dropped!
Preferably, I need a supplier with a web presence so I can order it there and then... but I'll hit the 'phones if necessary.
