I have a 57 reg freelander 2 and recently I have been having a fuel gauge problem I put about £30 in and it registers the amount on the fuel gauge in car then after about 20 miles the fuel gauge will drop them I will end up with 0 miles showing then if I put another £10 in it will register that £10 and the previous fuel that’s in the car but recently it’s been happening more can anyone help

Worth popping over to the Freelander section for better answer. General Landrover normally for wet knee syndrome.

It suggests an issue with the sender unit itself, or possibly the tank pump.
