Freelander FOS Door Lock

Peeps, for the last week I've been having problems with my Hippos drivers door lock. The problem is in the morning, and only started when the frosty weather came. The thing unlocks OK using the fob, but when I try to shut the door it won't catch, as if the latch has dropped or something. After a bit fiddling about with the latch and some WD40 is manages to work.

My Mrs had the problem today, being a woman she just left it, went back 45 minutes later when the sun was shining on the lump and the vehicle had defrosted and hey presto the door latch worked.

Can it really be the cold weather affecting the lock? It's getting right on my wick!!!

Sorry to bump but has no-one else had this type of problem with their locks?
