Freelander auto box fault!

Hi, Can any one help. I've got a TD4 2.0 (51) plate with the automatic box. Everything is working fine, except that I can't take it out of Park when the engine is running. It starts up in park fine. However I'm not able to move the gear lever to D. So I have to start it in Neutral. Pressing the brake doesn't help!

could be gear lever interlock there will be a solenoid that locks lever until brake pedal pressed
