Freelander 2003 1.8 fault code P1232

Hi, my Freelander 1.8 2003 will start but then stalls after a few seconds and will not rev up. I have been told the fault code is P1232 can anyone please tell me what this means in simple terms and does anyone know how to fix it. Thanks in advance Kevin

Thanks Hippo, Everything I have read points to the injectors, but they have been tested fine so I'm going to order a fuel pump and try that.
