Hello everybody!

I'm new to this forum and came across it while 'googleing' my car's problem: my 2007 Freelander 2 (3.2 V6 gasoline) won't start after I used it for some time and the engine is hot.

I read in a few topics that some older Freelanders TD4 sometimes don't start when warm due to problems on the camshaft position sensor.

I live in Brazil and not even Land Rover dealers can fix my car.
Also, it isn't easy to find parts to buy.

Would you say that the cause is probably the camshaft sensor?
I couldn't find anything concerning this on the Freelander 2.

Thanks a lot!
Stefano

You could try spraying some plumbers freeze spray on the camshaft sensor when it fails to start. If it then starts, you have confirmed the fault.

Thanks Ratty!

I'll sure try it when I find the sensor hehe :p

Do you know where is it located in a Freelander 2?

Cheers!
