Freelander 2 TD4 radio

So I bought an 07 plate freelander td4 xs and when I go to turn the radio on, the Landrover logo appears on it then just goes back to the clock. Wondering if this is an easy fix or something more drastic needed

A diagnostic read is required to tell you what is wrong.
It could be something simple like a software update, but it could also be a failure in any part of the audio system, which is spread over several components in the vehicle.
