Hi All,
I own a 2012 TD GS Freelander 2 and I'm having the strangest issue....after about 45 minutes of driving the accelerator pedal becomes really unresponsive, so i'll press the pedal and the revs will be really slow in rising. So as a random example, i'll stop at lights, then when it turns green i'll press the pedal by 20% and the revs will take 5 seconds to start increasing and struggle to rise... it's almost akin to a turbo lag but from the second i press the pedal and long before the turbo is due to kick in.
I've had it in an garage for diagnostics, but they say everything is returning fine on the diagnostic machine..hoping someone has had a similar problem. the turbo spins up fine and for 40 minutes everthing runs OK. I've felt like theres been lag before when setting off, could it be the pedal sensor?
Thanks for any help!
