Freelander 2 stolen 05/12 Gravesend

Thought I'd share this with everyone on here. This is from the Freel2.com website but deserves a wider coverage, not least due to the way in which it was stolen. Thief apparently posed as a buyer..........owner was knocked down at the Lion roundabout in Gravesend and the car was taken. Last seen heading towards Higham.
Photos taken from the website, hence why they are sideways.

Think they look better the right way up

RK57WBT RK57 WBT
Freelander 2 SE TD4 with:
tinted windows
tow bar
chrome side runners / steps
chrome mirror tops
black leather seats
mud guards front and rear
orange smelly thing with a happy face

Probably on eastern european plates binow.

Don't know, looks like a 57 plate.

Cant find anything about it with a Google search.

No, but mine is.
It's nice to see Freelanderers getting the same grief stricken response's tratterers get when their biscuit tins are stolen.

Realise we're used to seeing them lying on their side on raised kerbs but its a bit of a bu66er to look at. I mean how difficult is it to sort it??

It is more understandable that Gaylanders should be the subject of frivolity, they are joke cars when all is said and done.

Yep hope the bastard gets caught and the car is ok. But as others have said possibly in a container by now.

Is there anything in the media regarding the theft yet?
Would have thought they would have been all over it?
