I was driving down motorway today next thing its gone into limp mode engine management light on and it wouldnt rev above 3000rpm i got it plugged in and checked out and it came back as a turbo boost sensor fault i had this reset and its been ok upto now everything working as it should it had the turbo replaced just over a year ago with a brand new one what cost £1700 so don't expect it to be that

i wanted to know where this sensor is located on the engine so i can replace it any help would be appreciated

The boost sensor is in the throttle housing IIRC.

Sometimes the boost control vanes can stick, if the engine has been on the same boost for a long while. This can give rise to overboost situations, and limp mode.
