Freelander 2 new tyres, still on the back 1st???

Hi, just a quick query, I can't get on the search function on my phone! On a freelander 2 do new tyres still have to go on the back??

Freelander 2 has a different 4x4 system called Haldex, I don't think this system is as pernickety as the viscous unit in the FL1. However, general advise for any car now is to always put new tyres on the back.
