Freelander 2 MAP sensor screw replacement

Hi all,

Have had a difficult time starting in cold weather recently got a P0113 along with P0299 but that's for another thread, another day.

Before cracking into the turbo, I wanted to check the MAP and MAF sensors.
Cleaned both, lost the retaining screw for the MAP sensor.

Anyone have a part number or dims of the screw so I can buy a regular old screw to replace?

Make sure it's not gone down the intake!!
I have a rule.
Always find a dropped bolt or nut, as they can do enormous damage if they go where they shouldn't.

If you're absolutely positive you know it's not going to cause damage later on, then it will likely be an M6 X 12mm bolt.

Defo fell down somewhere on the undertray.
Only thing unbolted was the MAF sensor and it was still in situ - fairly confident it hasn't fallen anywhere untoward but I don't fancy ripping out hoses to find a 20p fitting.

I read elsewhere it's an M6x20mm but that seems pretty long. That being said, I never got a good look at the original before it fell into the abyss.
I'll try your suggestion and move up to 20mm if it's too short.

It might be on the under tray. It's only 6 bolts to remove it. It's literally 5 minutes work.

The reason I say to find it is: I bought a FL2 with "an injector fault", only to find the flatterned remains of an EGR pipe flange nut as on the top of a destroyed piston.

This is was the second time I came across a piece of hardware where it shouldn't be.
The first time was a Hillman Avenger engine, where the owner had dropped a rocker cover screw while doing some work, only for it to end up in the cam shaft tunnel, where it hit a cam lobe, breaking the cam in 2.

Ended up taking the car in to get the power steering HP hose replaced - have shared parking outside the flat so don't really want to be pulling off wheels and wheel arch lining. Couldn't find any bolts there.
Bought some M6x12mm bolts that fit but had a scary moment where I could feel the threads of the manifold being stripped. Was really hard to get the bolt in exactly straight.
