Hi all looking for some advice i recently bought a 07 freelander 2 td4 love it but key opens and unlocks doors but won't start the car if I lock it then unlock it turn ignition on and disconnect the battery it will start or if I park it for a couple of days it will start im in South of Ireland does anybody know if immobiliser can be deleted cheers

Mine has this exact same problem!
It shows the error code U0167 (immobilizer control module).
Have you found a fix, Banser?

Still no fix as yet I leave key in ignition I only use it to travel to work and at home so safe enough I know its not ideal but saves disconnecting the battery to start it
