Hi, I'm a new poster and new Land Rover owner so apologies beforehand if this is posted in the wrong place or my description isn't up to scratch.
I've just bought a 58 plate Freelander2 and the fob socket isn't working properly.
One of the two key fobs is recognised and starts the car OK when in the socket but the other fob is no longer working. On depressing the fob in the ignition to remove it, nothing is happening and I have to manouvre it out the socket.
Neither fob can lock the car doors and act as though the buttons on them no longer work, yet the immobiliser appears to be working.
Has anyone else experienced this or is there any advice? I've quickly searched a couple of threads on here but can't seem to find an issue exactly the same.
Thanks in advance.
