Good afternoon, I have a 2011 Freelander 2 with an electric window issue. The front and rear passenger side electric windows have stopped working in the up position. I have tried to find the fuse number on line and in the owners handbook but it is not listed. Has anyone suffered a similar issue? If so, was it a simple fuse problem or something more complicated?

Thanks

Stu

Might not be a fuse could be a toggle switch. Where they both working okay before you notice. If they are going down okay but not up try a test with a working toggle switch to confirm. Fuses would prevent both ways up and down. It would mean taking the door card off to replace. Or if the cubby box is the area you are using then easiest way is to unscrew the. Cubby box container and push out the offending switch and swap with a good one to test.

Thank you for the reply. There is no movement at all ..up or down. They were working a few weeks ago, hence I thought it might be a fuse but I could not find a fuse for electric windows. However, there is not a fuse listed in the owners manual.

I do not think it is a switch issue as the windows do not move using the drivers side toggle switch or the switch on the individaul doors. As both unservicable windows are on the same side (passenger side..front and back), I assume it might be a single issue .... but not sure.

The 4 window door control modules have their own fuses, in the boot fuse box.
Here they are.

So as each door has its own fuse, it's unlikely that 2 fuses would fail.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, then reconnecting it, to see if the issue is solved?
