Freelander 2 door locks

Well maintained 2010 Freelander 2 drivers door will not lock with fob other locks fine starts fine any suggestions please

Sounds like the mechanism has failed. Common fault. Its a DIY job if you are mechanically minded. I did mine in about 1.5 hours, but it is fiddly and it is tight and difficult at stages, but perfectly DIY. Locks are about 30 quid online.
Theres a decent Youtube video I found and followed, cant remember the name of the channel but Im sure a search will bring it up.
