Hi Guys,

Hope someome can give me an insight, sometimes not all the time (normally i would say every 300 miles or so) after driving 20 + mins or Longer i get a burning smell in the cabin (Inside) of the FL2, its a 2013 SD4 Auto......

But like i said its not that often, i was guessing it was the DPF regenerating, is that normal to smell ? ........ doesnt do it on short jorneys and only where im going over 40 + MPH and for 20 + mins or so .......

Any Ideas ?

Thx in advance

It could be the DPF doing a regen. Could it be oil burning off something hot? There is pretty common leak point on the intake trunking, which allows accumulated oil to drip onto the turbo, which then burns off.
