Hi!
I have the above mentioned freelander 2 from 2008, its done 335k km. I had it for the past 8-9 months or so and lately its been having a problem with the engine. Normally i feel two positions of the throttle, first is like light accelaration and second is a bit more heavy, you can almost feel its pushing you into the seat (of course its not really a race car feeling ). After driving it lets say for 1 hour the second position of the throttle slowly disappears and i can barely accelerate. What I noticed: 1) no smoke. 2) no fault on the dashboard. 3) noticeable power reduction as if the turbo wouldn't exist in the car. I talked to the mechanic a week ago and he said he didnt notice the problem but if something is wrong he suspects the mass airflow sensor is causing the dilemma. Has anyone experienced the same issues, if yes, any suggestions?
Thanks for the replies in advance.
Cheers
