Hi all, fairly new to all this, any help is appreciated!
Recently bought a Freelander 1 TD4, (04) plate. Its been working reliably for the past month now and I'm over joyed but an issue with the locking system has cropped up.
The alarm sounds every time I unlock the thing and when its unlocked and i just turn the key in the driver side door lock, the alarm sounds very briefly!
The switch on the centre well for locking also won't work? I took all the switches out and cleaned them with switch cleanser and lubricant and all of them work apart from this one! Any Ideas, it cant be the switch?!
Because this wont unlock the passenger side door stays closed (because it wont open!) and the boot door stays closed (because this also is locked! plus the door unlock on this tailgate wont work either... any help on that would be appreciated).
Would be lovely to access the rest of the Freelander other than just the drivers seat,
