Freelander 1800 pet twin cam keeping missing loosing power when accelarating

Dear all anyopne who can help me with dilema..

I have a freelander 1800 which starts and idles fine however when accelarating its starts to missing and be very jumpy( similar to starting a old motor without enough choke) once up to suitable momentum the problem goes away.

Any ideas thoughts would be gratefully appreciated...
