Freelander 1 Freelander 1 washers slow and weak

When I pull the stalk for the windscreen washers it's ages before the screen wash comes through and even then it's very weak.

I swapped to Citroen mist jets which are brilliant in principle but don't even spray above the wiper blades. Have replaced the old ones but will try the Citroen again if I get the pressure up.

Before I start pulling the bumper off I just wonder if anyone can advise if this is likely a new pump issue?

could be muck in the washer bottle you can get to them by just taking the inner wing protector off at the bottom

I'll have a go over the weekend. Thanks.

Bearmach pump with new grommet is under a tenner so might replace it anyway.

Does the inner wing fold easy win out looking knackered afterwards?

If its anything like the cars ive had in past with same issue it might just need the filter that sits in the washer bottle that the pump slides into cleaning out, undiluted screen wash goes like a jelly blocking things up
