freelander 1 turbo

I had a new turbo fitted and I drove it from the garage to home only 1/2 mile then next morning I went out got three miles from home and had to turn back as lack of power again and a bit of smoke any body any ideas before I get the tratters can of petrol and the relevant box of strikey things
but soon as it gets warm my son in law is going to have all turbo hoses off and also put all new vacuum hose on.

I had a quick look today after the wife got all the snow of the car and it seems as though all the silicone hoses are covered in a diesel film so I think fumes are leaking from somewhere too cold at the moment to look further
