Hello everyone, new land rover owner here.
I've just fitted a new low pressure fuel pump/filter. I have also changed the o rings seals and gaskets on the pressure sensor.
I'm now have issues with the map sensor. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the part number that I'm looking for to replace it.

Many thanks in advance

Power loss in the higher gears. When unplugged it runs fairly well. But more demanding work still sees a massive power loss.
I also have no Speedo, (new issue) started today. So I'm guessing nee wheel speed sensors

Your best bet is to look at the live data from the various sensors. The MAP failing isn't a known issue, but the MAF can give a weak signal, which will affect power.
Also low pressure from the low pressure fuel pump will give power loss.

Thank you. I'll give it a look. As I say the low pressure pump is brand new. The one I took out done nothing at all. Car was fine for about a week, then, without warning, just started slugging. Only happens in 4th and 5th. And with the map unplugged it runs relatively well. But I will check the MAF

Was the replacement pump a Pierburg? If not then it'll likely be rubbish, as it seems all cheap pumps fail quickly, or never deliver the correct pressure to start with. At full power, the low pressure rail needs to remain above 350 kPa, if it doesn't, the power will be affected.

Hello everyone who wants to know. The fuel pump came from the dealership in Edenbridge Kent. Working beautifully. After a trip to a tame mechanic and a run on a diagnostic, nothing came back as an error. Replaced the MAP sensor anyway. £20 from j4gs. Or something like that. Runs like new. No more shaking and coughing on start up and no loss of power through the 5 gears. All that's left to do is the wheel speed sensors. 4 due tomorrow. I'll update when I've fitted them all.
