Hi.
New to Landyzone but not the Freelander 1.
recently renewed some brake parts, discs, pads, calipers and un-seized the rear hand brake expander in the drum, replaced the rear cylinder bleed valves.
When i came to bleeding the brakes the pedal wouldn't firm up after bleeding. Would brake so much then not enough to stop properly. So in my stupid wisdom i changed the master cylinder and ABS Pump as i didn't think it was working well before this.
Now i can't get the brakes to bleed at all. All i get is the brake pedal going slightly stiff and then clunk goes to the floor. I get no build up of pressure. Pedal just pumps away.
Would a faulty (leaky) Servo prevent bleeding.
I've tried one man valve, two man operation etc. Does it need sucking through (vacuum)
Does the ABS Pump stop the bleeding some how
Any help would be appreciated
