Thanks Gary - 3" higher will preclude the FL from accessing the local skip - particularly if I fit bigger tyres/ fit a lift kit. Still, it is not as if it is my only car...
Shame you're not able to make the coming weekend on Salisbury Plane!
Are you going messing about with 4x4's,on an aircraft??,lol, only joking men, have a good day/weekend.LOL

Ouch, expensive. Shame though - I was hoping to look at the new steed - I would rather like to get a D3 as a future project car, but going to get some fun out of the FL firstno probs
have actually now booked my disco in for the 12th to get all my cam belts done with a local garage
didnt wish to leave it till next month , peace of mind
would have to get accommodation for me and dogs and after paying out for the cam belt etc to be done think it will be better to leave it for now, so i can recover , money wise
as i imagine a weekend for b and b , fuel etc would be around £250
i was really looking forward to it, but hopefully be able to make the next one
have got new tyres all round, some cooper at3
I keep wanting to buy them - but now have a ABS sensor and an under tray to replace! Lol
Almost there with all the "little" jobs.
How's your D3 doing?
Ta - and yes, certainly slow! Lol
The prop bearings are making quite a noise, so I am currently thinking of getting a refurbished VCU with bearings from Bell and be done with it. But that's a healthy chunk of cash... gulp! That'll be this month's car budget gone, but if the bars are still available next month, I'll get them off you
You're a star! Do you have to remove the rails to get the hardtop off?
